#makeupforever vs. #bobbibrown/#dior

Recently bought a new primer (thanks to Gyhun for the Sephora giftcard): Makeup forever HD foundation Primer- Smashbox primer was handsdown one of the best primers I’ve used. I definitely want to use it again in the future, but as I’m trying on different products, I decided to try something new before settling down with one product. I’ve never used Makeupforever products even though I’ve heard and read great reviews about it. I wanted something oil-free and light and thought this could be a good option since it felt really light and liquid-y( rather than something matte). If this doesn’t work out, I’m definitely going back to Smashbox.

I give a 3.5/5 for this Dior foundation. So far, Bobbi Brown skin foundation is far the best. It outrules any other foundation. It’s light, gives great coverage, last a long time and most importantly looks natural. On the other hand, Dior nude is more of matte and dry. I guess I’m used to the skin foundation that has llots of moisture and lightness whereas Dior nude is more of a matte and clean-cut one. It probably gives more coverage but I don’t really like the texture of it ’cause it feels heavy. I think it’s too dry for me too, as I prefer more liquidy ones with moisture over matte ones. I’m definitely going back to Bobbi Brown #4 Skin foundation after this.

Anyways… I dropped my pressed powder and they broke into tiny pieces. Life-span has definitely been shortened, and so I’m in search of a new powder. I’m thinking of getting the micro powder from Makeupforever or sticking with Dior powder since I’m using Dior foundation but.. haven’t really decided which one to get. Definitely considering in participating more research studies for extra money. 😉
